At SCL Simcoe Contracting & Landscaping, we believe in building more than landscapes — we build community.Every deck, patio, or backyard we design is rooted in one simple mission: to create spaces where people can connect, laugh, and make memories together.
But our work doesn’t stop at construction sites. We take pride in giving back to the same community that supports us — because Simcoe County isn’t just where we work, it’s where we live.
👷♀️ Little Monsters Build Workshop- Innisfil Kids Workshop
This October, we hosted our first Little Monsters Build Workshop, a Halloween-themed kids workshop that brought local families together for a day of creativity and fun. Each child became a “mini builder,” assembling and decorating their very own candy box using real tools, bolts, and paint — just like the pros!
The laughter, teamwork, and tiny hard hats reminded us why we love what we do.Our crew spent weeks preparing every piece by hand, and seeing parents and kids work side-by-side was the best kind of reward.
"We loved this event. The details, the efforts, the love and care put into this workshop were truly over the top. The weather and the view were beautiful. BUT… the staff… they were so welcoming, friendly, involved, and helpful. My family truly appreciated this workshop!"
🎅 Little Elves Holiday Workshop
Coming up this December, we’re turning the shop into Santa’s workshop for our Little Elves Holiday Workshop in Innisfil!Kids will craft their own wooden creations to take home for the holidays, while families sip hot chocolate and get a behind-the-scenes look at how our SCL team brings big builds to life.
This event, like all of ours, is about more than the final product — it’s about connection.
We want every child to walk away proud of what they built and inspired by what teamwork can do.
🌳 Why Community Matters to Us
Landscaping and construction are about transformation, not just of spaces, but of lives. For us, community involvement is an extension of our craft and how we “build back” and show gratitude for the trust our neighbours place in us.
Whether it’s donating picnic tables to local parks, volunteering our time for local schools, or hosting hands-on experiences for kids, we believe that building a stronger Simcoe County starts one project, one smile, and one act of service at a time.
Our team members — from the office to the field — volunteer their time proudly, because SCL is more than a company. It's a family that believes in making an impact that lasts.
